History

The history of RMG begins in the late 19th century. The origins lie in the "Morell'sche Fabrik" for rotary compressors, which was renamed Hessenwerke Maschinenfabrik in 1911. In 1931 Rudolf Majert takes over all shares of the company and renames it Hessenwerk Rudolf Majert. Now gas pressure control valves for the gas industry are also built.

After World War II, larger nominal sizes of gas pressure control valves and various safety devices with higher pressure ratings are built in close contact with the gas industry. In 1964 IWKA Industrie-Werke Mannheim-Augsburg AG takes over RMG Regel und Messtechnik GmbH under the new name. RMG is based on Rudolf Majert Gastechnik.

In 2009 the then owner, the investor group Triton, sold the RMG group to Honeywell. RMG is subsequently sold to Dalian Energas, including all rights to the RMG brand. Since 2016, RMG Messtechnik GmbH has experienced continuous growth in turnover. The number of employees also continues to rise steadily. So far subsidiaries have been founded in Austria, USA, China and UAE-Dubai. We are constantly working on the renewal and expansion of the existing product portfolio.

Today, RMG Regel + Messtechnik GmbH is the parent company of an international group of companies. The merging of the various companies into one unit offers the advantage that, in order to solve tasks in gas supply, the customer can be offered both individual components and complete systems in the field of gas measurement and control technology.

The high quality standard of RMG has become the epitome of precise and reliable products in the professional world.
Consistent research and development activities have led to decisive advances in gas pressure control and safety technology. The success of this work is reflected in many domestic and foreign patents and utility models.

Drawing on experience and at the same time being open to innovation - this guiding principle will continue to determine RMG's actions in the future.
