With over 50 years of experience in natural gas measurement, RMG Messtechnik GmbH develops innovative measurement solutions for the precise measurement of natural gas volumes and properties. Our portfolio covers various measurement methods, including gas flow measurement, gas analysis, calorific value determination as well as energy and volume measurement.
Depending on requirements, various meter types are available for flow measurement, such as robust turbine meters or modern ultrasonic meters. High-performance gas chromatographs such as the PGC series and devices such as the GQS 400 are used for gas analysis. They provide precise values for calorific value, gas density and other quality-relevant parameters.
Our flow computers and compact volume correctors record and process the measurement data from the meters and the connected pressure and temperature sensors. State volume correctors use this data to calculate the K value, while calorific value correctors also determine the energy based on the transferred calorific value data.
All devices can be seamlessly integrated into central remote meter reading systems (ZFA) via modern communication interfaces. This enables transparent, efficient and standard-compliant gas billing - for industrial plants as well as for energy suppliers and network operators.
Our natural gas metering systems are designed to ensure precise natural gas measurements with maximum accuracy, safety and system integration, even under increasing demands. In this way, we make an important contribution to supply quality, process reliability and energy efficiency in the gas network.
