Calorific value measurement with the RGQ 5 and RGQ 3

The calorific value measurement, as carried out by the RGQ 5 and the mobile RGQ 3, enables the total energy stored in a fuel to be determined precisely. Both devices measure the calorific value without combustion.

The RGQ 5 is designed as a stationary system for continuous operation in industrial applications, while the RGQ 3 scores with its mobility and flexibility. Both devices work with the same high precision and thus enable efficient evaluation of the entire energy potential of a fuel gas. This feature makes the devices ideal tools for applications where optimizing energy efficiency and minimizing losses are crucial.

Precise analysis for maximum energy efficiency

The RGQ devices play a central role in a modern gas measurement system, as they measure the total energy released by a fuel. This is particularly important in industrial applications where high demands are placed on energy monitoring and control. Both systems measure the calorific value of a fuel gas in standard conditions, typically in kilojoules per cubic meter. This precise measurement makes it possible to analyse combustion processes, evaluate efficiencies and minimize energy losses, which is particularly important for optimizing combustion systems.

The technology behind the RGQ 5 and RGQ 3 not only ensures accurate detection in gas analysis, but also offers the flexibility required in different areas of application. While the RGQ 5 as a stationary system is ideal for permanent monitoring processes, the RGQ 3 as a mobile solution allows fast and reliable measurements at changing locations.
