Mechanical Development Engineer – Design (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities:

• You will design flow meters and analytical instruments in the field of Gas Measurement Products
  
• You will be responsible for designing measurement sections for gas measurement systems (Ultrasonic Gas Meters, mechanical and electronic Turbine Gas Meters, gas quality systems, etc.)
  
• You will support our product development from the prototype stage through to series production
  
• You will represent the mechanical design team in customer projects and ensure on-time implementation
  
• You will ensure that calculations are performed and materials are selected in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive
  
• You will create manufacturing drawings, data sheets, and drawing bill of materials, and ensure they are properly archived in the PDM/ERP system
  
• Coordinating with suppliers and the production department is also part of your responsibilities
  

Your Profile:

• You have a degree in mechanical engineering or several years of professional experience in design
  
• You are familiar with using a 3D CAD tool and ideally have knowledge of Creo Parametric and ASME VIII/1 and ASME B31.3
  
• You have a good understanding of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU and the AD2000 regulations
  
• You are an enthusiastic and team-oriented person and stand out for your structured and process-oriented approach to work
  
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills round out your profile
