Technical Buyer (m/f/x)

We are looking for a full-time Technical Buyer (m/f/x) to join our team in India as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

• Procurement market analyses with the focus on local procurement of materials and services
• Qualification and development of suppliers
• Development and implementation of a supply base in India
• Realization of savings
• Independent procurement of all necessary materials and services for the business unit in India, according to the guidelines of the parent company RMG Messtechnik
• Execution and processing of all purchasing activities, such as: Enquiries, scheduling, ordering, deadline tracking, for RMG India
• Processing and clarification of complaints with suppliers

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Ideally a bachelor’s degree in engineering management
• Several years of experience in the field of sourcing or a related field
• A minimum of 5 consecutive years in buyer positions
• Experience in qualification, development and management of suppliers
• Proficiency in engineering principles and practices
• Knowledge of manufacturing technologies in the field of casting, mechanical processing of drawing parts, surface treatment such as painting
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office package and ERP systems as well as the English Language
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, assertive and solutions- and goal-oriented
