Your tasks:

In the course of increasing automation and digitalization, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in software development is becoming increasingly important. The aim of this master's thesis is to investigate and evaluate the practical use of AI tools in the analysis of sensor signals in software development and to integrate them prototypically into existing development environments.

In detail, this means

• You will be responsible for analyzing and selecting suitable AI tools to support software development processes (e.g. code generation, refactoring, review, test automation)
• You integrate these tools into an existing development environment (e.g. Visual Studio Code IDE)
• You will independently carry out the further connection to version management and configuration systems such as GitLab
• You examine AI-supported test procedures (e.g. test case generation, static code analysis, anomaly detection) and implement them prototypically
• You will also be responsible for evaluating the practical suitability and efficiency of the methods used based on defined criteria

Your profile:

• You are currently completing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a comparable field
• You have already gained experience with AI applications as part of your studies or internship
• You are interested in analyzing various topics in the field of soft- and firmware development
• You are a team-oriented personality with an independent way of working and a high level of quality awareness
• You are adept at using MS Office applications
• Good German and English skills round off your profile
