New mounting centre for flame arresters
Meeting the increasing customer requirements concerning production and logistics a new mounting centre for flame arresters (FDS) started with the production on the 24 th of September 2007 in Fürstenwalde.
This milestone to further completion of the product group of flame arresters was set by the support of the management board, especially by Rolf Modl, by the organisation of the management engineer Bobrowski and the assistance of many workers and embloyees.
The main points of view of the new mounting and testing centre are the shortening of processing time and the increasing of capacity. This step was necessary, because of European and international demands for a particular flexible production. Moreover, the new centre enables a further improvement of the quality of the production and the manufacturing process, that are annually tested and monitored by the Federal Institute for Material Control as a notified agency.
The new mounting centre also facilitates the work of the personnel staff. Material on a commission basis is partially no longer necessary by storage of the material needed in close proximity to us. As a consequence the staff profits by the facilitation of the production process as well as our customers profit by the intended reduction of delivery times.
