Measuring and metering natural gas on the Nord Stream Pipeline

Systems engineering and design are in the hands of WINGAS GmbH & Co. KG and RMG Messtechnik GmbH, a member of the RMG Group, who cooperate closely on this project.
In view of the enormous amounts of natural gas involved, the biggest challenge is to plan and carry out precise metering of gas quantities and qualities and to handle data processing and communication safely and reliably. About 55 billion cubic metres of natural gas will flow through the meters every year. And the quality of the readings must not be compromised.
The project managers of RMG by Honeywell and WINGAS GmbH & Co. KG cooperate closely and coordinate their schedules so as to make sure that all works are carried out smoothly and on time.
