Biogas infeed plant for E.ON Avacon AG

Biogas infeed into the E.ON Avacon AG public gas supply mains

Under the leadership of E.ON Avacon AG, Braunschweig, E.ON Avacon AG and E.ON Bioerdgas GmbH have awarded a contract for planning and construction of a biogas infeed plant (Biogaseinspeiseanlage BGEA) for feeding gas into the E.ON Avacon mains in Einbeck, to WÄGA (plant construction for the RMG GROUP). In the final analysis the determining factors that won the contract were the use of matched components from the RMG GROUP (measuring instruments, analysis technology, automation technology and plant construction).

The contract was awarded to WÄGA in early May 2009; currently it is in the implementation phase and will go online in September/October 2009 (depending on delivery of the first compressor system).
