Biogas infeed plant for E.ON Avacon AG

Trendsetting biogas infeed project is awarded to WÄGA

Planning and building of the station in accordance with VP 265-1 of DVGW.
In this preliminary test specification the systems that must be tested in accordance with DVGW guidelines have been clearly determined.

The biogas infeed plant will be used for the specified infeed of the biogas that is conditioned within the station to mains quality. For biogas infeed stations the location issue is of utmost importance due to the required mains topography.

The planning and configuration phase turned out to be extremely demanding due to the complexity of the plant. In addition the specific requirements of the biogas treatment plant and the mains quality had to be satisfied.

The biogas infeed plant will feed the conditioned biogas with an operating pressure of 11 -23 bar and a quantity of 400 - 700 Nm³/h into the existing PN 25 gas mains for public gas supply.

The gas is made available to us with an admission pressure of 0.2 - 1 bar from the biogas processing plant (Biogasaufbereitungsanlage BGAA) in accordance with G 260 / G 262.

The biogas will be compacted in a compressor system that is designed to be 100% redundant that will be provided by the customer.
